Welcome to my web site!  I'm a romance author, and I'm currently doing a PhD, researching online romance genre communities and their perspectives on the genre. While the focus of my PhD is on the romance genre, I'm very interested in popular fiction of all kinds and its readership. Until late 2007, I worked at the University of New England as an educational designer, and now I do casual academic work there, in the writing and communications programs.

In July, I was honoured to be the winner of the 2007 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart Award for best unpublished Romantic Suspense for my manuscript, Falling into Darkness. 

I'm delighted to now be able to announce that this manuscript will be published, under my psuedonym Bronwyn Parry, with the title As Darkness Falls in September 2008 by Hachette Livre Australia, with a second book to follow.
